YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR PRIORITY Understand ANSI/ISEA 107-1999 standard: ANSI/ISEA 107-1999 is the American National Standard for high visibility safety apparels. The International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) developed ANSI/ISEA 107-1999 standard which was approved by the American National Standard Institute, Inc. (ANSI) in 1999. Low Visibility is recognized as one of the most serious hazards for workers who must work on or near moving traffic or equipment. Conspicuity can be enhanced by high contrast between the high visibility clothing and the background against which it is seen. ANSI/ISEA 107-1999 provides the guidelines for design, performance of materials, and use of high visibility apparels. ANSI/ISEA 107-1999 also specifies the performance of background and reflective materials, minimum amounts of background and reflective materials. It recommends the placement position of reflective materials, it also specifies test methods and care labeling for high visibility safety apparels. Three classes of ANSI 107 compliant products are classified based on the the amount of background fabrics and reflective materials and basically specifies who wears which class of ANSI 107 compliant safety garment:
